Piezo Element

Feedback Lead:

The feedback lead, used along with an external resistor and DC voltage, creates an oscillation circuit. This generates a tone based on the resonant frequency of the piezo ceramic element.  This is the frequency at which the device creates most output and therefore generates higher Sound Pressure Levels (SPL).
